Part of success as a writer is continuous study. Going to writers conferences is a great way to keep your writing skills sharp, learn new techniques, and meet with other writers, published authors, agents, and editors.

Another great tool is attending workshops on specific writing topics. I have a strong background in training and college teaching. I periodically offer online courses and on-site workshops about key topics in writing and publishing.
